The Early Bird Gets the Worm

Rise and shine my lovelies! Every third Saturday of the month Laredo Main Street hosts El Centro de Laredo Farmers Market at Veterans Plaza (1300 Farragut) in historical downtown Laredo from 9AM to 1PM.

Some of the goods you’ll find are locally grown fruits and veggies, organic eggs, plants, delicious food and fresh baked treats.

Activities vary from month to month. Some of the activities you can partake in are free Zumba fitness classes, yoga or tai chi.

I know sometimes it’s a bit difficult waking up early on a Saturday but Laredo’s weather is perfect for early morning activities. Wake up the kids, skip breakfast at home and have breakfast at Jarvis Plaza. You’ll also find a Kid’s Corner where the kids can show off their artistic flare via sidewalk chalk art or get their face painted.
