Site Inspection Coordination
The Laredo Convention & Visitors Bureau will plan an escorted site inspection of the potential hotels and venues that match your event needs. We will plan a site inspection based on your chosen meeting criteria. It will be our pleasure to escort you as you check out the many local attractions your group might be considering for an upcoming event.
Welcome Reception and Bags
The Laredo CVB will sponsor a Welcome Reception (Ice-breaker) to qualifying groups. Our staff will host your reception and serve Laredo's famous "Ojo Rojo" cocktail, a unique recipe that always receives great reviews and sets the tone for your gathering.
Your group attendees will receive a Welcome Bag with a Laredo souvenir, general information and maps.
Meeting / Event Promotion
Our staff can supply images and copy for your event brochure and collateral as well as assist in the publicizing your event. The bureau can also provide local media and community contacts to generate the recognition you desire.
Attendance-Building
Also available to your meeting are special promotional and attendance-building materials to assist you in promoting Laredo as your meeting destination.
SPOUSE ITINERARIES / CONFERENCE PLANNING
Whether you're looking for activities for spouses, families or VIP guests, we will customize an itinerary that best suites your needs whether its for an afternoon, a day or a week. Your guests will feel right at home while you take care of business. Whether they want to snooze by the pool, or tour Laredo's historic district, we can help set up the right itinerary.
Registration Assistance
We'll be glad to help with your registration needs. Our poised and knowledgeable staff can assist you with information on Laredo, our calendar of events and activities, and even create name badges or provide luggage tags.
LIAISON WITH PUBLIC OFFICIALS
The bureau will be pleased to contact public officials or civic organizations to help secure letters of invitation and will be glad to coordinate welcomes for convention opening ceremonies.
