This year’s event will once again deliver an evening filled with festive fun, family activities, and community spirit on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Sames Auto Arena.\n\nFrom 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., attendees can enjoy a winter wonderland of activities, live entertainment, and the highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Countdown led by Santa Claus and Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño at 7:00 p.m.\n\nFestivities Include:\n\nFree Ice Skating (ticket required; limited sessions)\nPhotos with Santa Claus (ticket required; limited availability)\nFree cookies and hot chocolate (while supplies last)\nSnow Slide, Train Rides & Santa’s Workshops\nOrnament Decorating Activity: Create holiday-themed ornaments with staff from Keep Laredo Beautiful.\nChristmas Trolley with Holiday Characters: Meet beloved characters thanks to El Metro.\nSanta’s Passport to Health: An interactive scavenger hunt across event booths thanks to Laredo Public Health.\nPet Adoptions & Christmas Fashion Show: Adoption fees waived during the event thanks to Animal Care Services.\nFire Truck Display & Sparky Appearance courtesy of the Laredo Fire Department.\nChild ID Cards courtesy of the Laredo Police Department.\nLive Performances by local student choirs.\n\nTicket Information:\nThe event is free; however, tickets are required for select activities. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Sames Auto Arena box office beginning at 2:00 p.m. on December 3.\n\nIce Skating Tickets:\n\nLimit 4 tickets per family\n7 sessions available\nEach session lasts 30 minutes\nSigned liability release form required on-site\n\n\nSanta Photo Tickets:\n\nLimited to 400 tickets\n1 ticket per family\n\n\nImportant Reminders:\n\nIce-skating participants should dress warmly due to cold indoor temperatures.\nPersonal skates are permitted, though sizes may be limited.\nFood, drinks, and cellphones are not allowed inside the ice rink.\n\n\nTraffic & Safety:\nAttendees are encouraged to plan ahead, observe posted traffic signs, and follow instructions from Police Officers assisting with traffic near the venue.\n\nMayor Dr. Victor Treviño shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating:\n“Navidad Fest is a cherished tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the joy and spirit of the season.
