This event is about pushing limits, building connections, and reminding everyone that depression hates a moving target — so let’s move together.\nParticipants will take on a muddy, obstacle-style course designed for all fitness levels — whether you’re competitive or just here for an unforgettable community experience.\nThis is more than a race.\nIt’s movement with meaning.\n💪 What to Expect\n• A fun but challenging mud course\n• Team or individual participation (teams can be any size)\n• Veterans and community members side by side\n• High-energy atmosphere with music throughout the day\n• Mental health awareness outreach\n• Photo opportunities and finish-line celebrations\n• Food, music, and community vibes after the course\n• A powerful reminder that movement saves lives\nWhether you’re racing or cheering, come ready to sweat, laugh, struggle together, and leave stronger — physically and mentally.\n🏃 Course Format\n• Heats of 24 participants at a time\n• Teams may vary in size (4, 7, or more — it doesn’t matter)\n• Solo participants are welcome\n• First come, first serve\n• First heat starts at 8:00 AM\nYou don’t need a team to participate — community becomes your team.\n⏰ Event Schedule\nCheck-In Opens: 7:30 AM\nOpening Remarks: 7:45 AM\nFirst Heat Starts: 8:00 AM\nCourse Concludes: Around 12:00 PM\nBut the day doesn’t end there — enjoy food, music, and community connection until 4:00 PM.\nStay. Celebrate. Soak in the energy.\n👨‍👩‍👧 Age Requirements\n• Ages 10 and under:\nMust have parent/guardian consent AND a signed liability waiver.\nA parent or guardian must also participate on the course with them.\n• Ages 11–17:\nMust have parent/guardian consent and signed liability waiver.\nParent/guardian does not need to participate on the course.\n• 18+:\nStandard participant waiver required.\n⚠️ Waivers & Consent\nAll waivers and parental consent forms must be completed the night before the event.\nLocation details and final instructions will be provided at that time.\nParticipants must follow the Awareness Warriors Facebook page for updates and important event information.\n🎒 What to Bring / Wear\n✔ Athletic clothes you don’t mind getting muddy\n✔ Closed-toe shoes with good traction\n✔ Towel and change of clothes\n✔ Water bottle\n✔ Sunscreen / hat\n✔ Positive attitude and grit\nOptional: gloves, long socks, and a small bag for personal items.\n👨‍👩‍👧 Spectators Welcome\nFriends and family are encouraged to attend and cheer participants on.\nThere will be viewing areas near obstacles and the finish line.\nKids are welcome with adult supervision.\nEven if you’re not running, come enjoy the food, music, and community.\n⚠️ Safety Notice\nThis is a physical activity event.\nBy registering, participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved and agree to participate at their own ability level.\nMedical staff and volunteers will be on site.\nHydration stations will be available.\nIf you have health concerns, please consult your physician prior to participating.\n❤️ Why We Do This\nThis event supports mental health awareness and suicide prevention through action, connection, and shared struggle.\nEvery step taken helps break stigma and reminds people they are not alone.\nMove your body.\nConnect with others.\nBe someone’s lifeline.\n\n\n
