Laredo’s Signature Drinks

The LCVB approached local bar owner, Eduardo Medina, of On The Rocks Tavern and Carlos Valdez, local distributor of VDF Interproducts and asked them to create two cocktails that represent Laredo’s culture, location and flavor.
From that point, Sol de Laredo and Border Breeze were born. Sol de Laredo features tequila reposado and citric tones served on the rocks and garnished with a chile de arbol. Border Breeze is a modern day take on a paloma that features tequila silver, fresh lime juice, cucumber syrup and is topped off with club soda.
The tequilas of choice for the cocktails are Tequila 30-30 reposado and Tequila Distinguido silver which are distributed locally by VDF Interproducts.
