May the luck of the Irish be with you!

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. Time to put on your most festive “Kiss me I’m Irish” gear and head out in search of four leaf clovers, leprechauns and green beer.

In browsing thru the internets I came across a couple of options for you to celebrate the Feast of Saint Patrick on Saturday, March 17 ^th while you’re in Laredo. Enjoy, have fun and as always drink responsibly.

Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery will be having a full day of St. Patrick’s Day fun! The party will extend from the restaurant onto the parking lot. Enjoy live musical entertainment from various bands and DJs including, special guests from Monterrey, shows by the Sexy Angels and DJ Alex rock. Local favorites that will be entertaining the crowd are Bajo Silencio, Versus and Jolly Ranchers. Karaoke will be featured in the patio at 9pm. Keep your whistle wet with authentic Irish green beer, enjoy food specials all day and don’t miss out on an appearance by some amusing Irish friends!

La Posada is hosting a party in their West Courtyard. The party begins at 6pm and ends at 11pm. They’ll be featuring live music from Santo Vicio and Bucket of Six. Party goers will be able to indulge in green beer, frozen margaritas, martinis and a food stand will have plenty of scrumptious eats.

After you visit La Posada head on over to El Capataz. While you’re sipping on your green beer, join in on a couple of games such as a potato peeling contest or a pot-o-gold lucky coin draw.

Have you checked out the Cultura Beer Garden? Before you start making your green beer and cocktails selection take a picture at the I Love You Chingos sign. The shenanigans begin at 5pm with a $2 beer special from 5pm-6pm. Follow them on Facebook to find out which food trucks will be on-site.
