“SpiderBoy” Children’s Book Event
Presentation of the children’s book “SpiderBoy”, written by Lic. Víctor Manuel Olguín Loza, an author from Ciudad Fernández, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Laredo’s sister city since 2024.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Municipal Tourism and International Relations Office of Ciudad Fernández, the Laredo Public Library, and the International Relations Coordination of the City of Laredo Convention & Visitors Bureau. Together, we aim to strengthen our cultural and educational ties through this meaningful binational initiative.
The presentation will be held on October 29 and 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library Multipurpose Room (1120 E. Calton Road & McPherson).
SpiderBoy shares a powerful message that true heroism comes from empathy, love, and family, offering Laredo’s youth an inspiring cross-cultural experience.
Admission is free, and families are encouraged to attend with their children dressed as their favorite superheroes!
