Fiestas Patrias Festival
Celebrate Mexico’s Independence from Spain with dance! The Fiestas Patrias Festival 2026 will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 7:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the Pan American Arts Complex (3301 San Bernardo) and features dancers of the Gabriela Mendoza-García Ballet Folklórico. The dancing begins at 8:00 p.m. with members of the Gabriela Mendoza-Garcia Ballet Folklorico performing the traditional dances of Mexico. Watch children and adults perform dances from the states of Veracruz, Sinaloa, Tamualipas and more.
The evening will continue with a grito contest with prizes awarded, Mexican themed costume contest, and musical entertainment. Vendors will be on hand to sell their one-of-a-kind items. Plus, partake in the delicious selections of food and drink for sale by one of the many food trucks located at the Pan American Courts Arts Complex.
